Yet another childhood favorite is being turned into popcorn entertainment. Check out the new trailer for Where The Wild Things Are. At least Spike Jonze is directing. He’s the only person in Hollywood I would trust to a project like this (using puppets rather than CGI inspires some hope). Still makes me feel a little queasy to see another piece of childhood diluted – perhaps due to the action-filled trailer. But I’ll hold my breath and hope for the best. This better be amazing.
